AIMS

To provide effective treatment for people with problematic alcohol use in Southampton and the Southern Parishes of Eastleigh. The service focuses on the ever-changing local needs reflecting the diversity of the community it serves

STATUS

Statutory – NHS & Local Authority

TARGET GROUP

People with severe alcohol dependence and complex needs who need treatment aged 18+

MODELS OF PRACTICE
The team offers a multi-disciplinary service with experienced staff working to offer a broad range of community-based treatment options such as:

  • Community detoxification
  • 1:1 key working
  • Relapse prevention
  • Testing for Hepatitis B & C
  • Vaccination for Hepatitis A & B
  • Service for women & pregnant users
  • Referral for in-patient detoxification
  • Care management & access to residential treatment
  • Liaison with, and referral to, other services
  • Support and information for other professionals

OPENING HOURS

Appointments:
Monday - Friday: 9.00am - 5.00pm
Duty service for existing clients:
Monday - Friday: 12.00am - 5.00pm
